Which fields you see depends on your situation: the assessment shows not every field, but those already filled in or the ones you have added yourself.

Trækprocent and Månedsfradrag

look at this first

These are the two figures you will later see on your payslip.

Every line in turn

  1. 1
    Felt 201 — expected salary

How much you expect to earn over the whole year and before all deductions — before and before tax.

  2. 2
    Felt 366

The date from which you start earning. SKAT uses it to spread your deduction over the part of the year that is left — rather than over all 12 months.

  3. 3
    Felt 304 — benefits

, sick pay and parental benefit. This is not salary — it has a field of its own.

  4. 4
    Felt 216

from the kommune. Also kept separate from salary.

  6. 6
Felt 417 — the journey to work

The deduction for the journey to work, if the round trip is more than 24 km a day. Nobody will fill this field in for you.

  7. 7
    Felt 458

Union dues. Next to them, in felt 439, are contributions to your and efterløn.

  8. 8
    Interest on loans

Your bank and mortgage provider report their figures themselves. Interest on a private loan — felt 485 — you enter yourself.

  9. 9
    Beregn, then Godkend

Beregn recalculates and shows you the new rate. Godkend confirms it. Without the second button nothing is saved, and no new skattekort goes to your employer.

What to do if a number looks wrong

  • Trækprocent is unexpectedly highCheck felt 201: it may hold the total for two employers, or last year's salary.
  • It shows income from a job you no longer haveRemove it. Otherwise your deduction is spread over money you will not receive.
  • You have just arrived and did not work the whole yearEnter your first working day in felt 366 — otherwise the calculation covers a full year.
